Big boy!

Dear Liam,
You are getting to be such a big boy! I know that when the baby comes, you're going to seem even bigger, which seems unbelievable right now. We got your school pictures yesterday, and I swear you look like you're about 10 years old in them! Who is this kid?! I love how great you are at posing for photographers. It's pretty amazing- most other kids are not as willing to smile and pose as you are! Now, if you would only let ME take your picture more often!

You got a "new" dresser last week. You got my old dresser, I got a new one, and the baby will get the changing table/dresser that you've had since birth. Your room truly looks like a big boy room now. The dresser has five drawers, instead of just three like the changing table one, and it's also much taller. You room looks really big too!

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving. I know you're really looking forward to the long weekend. You just LOVE when I come to pick you up at the end of the week, and when I see you, you yell, "it's the WEEKEND!!!" I love our weekends together. I hope to do lots of fun things with you this weekend, like our usual outings to the library and Wonderlab, and hopefully some of the city's holiday activities, like the lighting of the Christmas lights downtown. I think you'll really like it!
