Liam,
You're finally starting to say some words! It's so exciting! This last weekend, you started saying banana ("nana")! I've always been worried that you're behind in terms of language development, but I think you're going to have a "language explosion" soon. I can just feel it! You definitely understand what we say to you. If we ask you to get the ball, or a book, you do it. And if we ask for a specific book, you'll pick exactly the right one out of your big collection of books. You can identify a dog, although really, you call almost everything a dog. :) You also love to say "no." I must say that I'm already tiring of this word. LOLLL
You're still nursing. We're just nursing in the evenings now. You've been waking up at around 5:30 every day. Daddy gets up with you and you guys have Daddy and Liam time while I sleep a little bit more, and then get ready for work. You watch "Curious George" each morning, and I think that Daddy enjoys it just as much as you.
The weather is getting nicer. Unfortunately, I bought you all 18 month clothes for the summer, and the shorts are all WAY too big! You're such a tiny little thing! (You were 20 lbs 14 oz and 30 inches at your 15 month appointment last week.) You like to play with the different balls that we have (basketball, soccerball, wiffleball), and run around outside. You also love to dig your hands into the dirt. I'm not so sure how long my pansies will last. :( I have a feeling that your hair is going to become really blonde this summer. It will be so cute!
You have two molars that have popped through, both on top. I know that you've been in a lot of pain because of this. I feel terrible because I can't do anything to help you.
I love you so much Liam.
Mommy
