I love you!

Liam,
This weekend, you started saying/repeating "love you." I must say... my heart absolutely melts every time you say this. I love you too, sweet boy. Mommy will always love you, no matter what. You've also started saying "yes," as opposed to just nodding your head. You've had "no" down pat for awhile now... :)

I took the week off from work last week. You and I had a great week together. It was so much fun to go to the library, Barnes and Noble (to play with the "choo choos"), the mall, swimming, McDonald's for a Happy Meal, and for walks. I love my time with you, sweetheart. I cried numerous times over the weekend, when thinking about having to return to work again today. I wish I could spend every day with you, Liam. But, that's just not financially possible. I hadn't had that much time off since maternity leave, and it just reminded me how wonderful our time together is. I cherish every moment with you, my little monkey man.

You are all about trains right now. You got some new Thomas books last week, which we've read about a thousand times since then. You want to watch your Thomas DVDs all the time. I'm okay with this- it's a very calm show. I don't let you watch it all the time or anything, but a little bit is okay. Much better than a lot of the annoying crap that's on TV. Maybe someday we'll ride on a real train!
