Liam,
This last weekend, I went to visit your Auntie Cari. I was gone from Friday until Monday. You stayed home with Daddy. I'd never spent a night away from you... but it went well! You're teething (pointy incisors coming in on top), so you were kind of miserable some of the time, but you still did really well. Daddy said that at one point, you just wanted him to hold you in front of the fridge, and you two just stood there and you touched a photo of me on the fridge. When Daddy told me this on the phone, I cried. (Of course, I cried when you and Daddy left on Friday morning too.) I had a fun time with Auntie Cari- it was so nice to have a little break.
You've started to connect words together. Your latest phrase is "I'll get you," which you say while chasing me or Daddy around the house. It's pretty much the cutest thing ever.
You look like such a big boy all of a sudden. You're getting taller, and you look nothing like a baby now. We had your pictures taken a week ago, and you look like a boy, not a baby. The pictures are great- they were taken outside, at a park in Indianapolis. You really seemed to have fun, and it shows in the pictures.
You seem to be eating better lately. Maybe you'll finally gain some weight! In the mornings, you've really been chowing down. You'll eat some of your own food, and then some of both my breakfast and Daddy's. I hope you're eating as well at daycare too.
For the last couple weeks, you've been waking up really early- between 4 and 5:30. Please stop. You know I love you, but it's really killing me and Daddy. :)
I love you, Liam. You're becoming a big boy now, but you'll always be my baby.
Mommy
