Dear Liam,
This morning, your first grade class put on a program for the parents. You had a reader's theater, and you read fairy tales in groups. You were in "The Three Little Pigs," and you were Pig 2. I just love hearing you read. It amazes me every single time. You are becoming such a good reader. And math?! Oh my goodness. The way that you are able to grasp all of the interesting ways that you are taught math is just awesome. You are loving school this year, and I love that you love it.
Your birthday is coming so very soon. How in the world can you be turning 7?! This just doesn't seem possible! You are such an amazing kid, and I couldn't love you more.
You are very into football and basketball, both college and professional, lately. You have the ESPN app on your iPad now, and you love to tell me and Daddy all about the scores/rankings/schedules. I swear you can memorize info like you have a photographic memory!
You are very excited for Christmas. The weather has been ridiculously warm, so I'm hoping that we will be able to play outside a lot during your break. You (and Libby) will have to come with me for at least a few days, but I should also hopefully be able to work from home a bit too. I dream of having a job that would actually give me the opportunity to stay home with you during your winter break!
I love you, sweet boy.
Love,
Mommy
